Even Your Pets Need Better Indoor Air Quality!

You can study, read, hear all kinds of stuff, but life has a way of teaching you the truth about the big & little things. Since becoming involved with the GREEN SCREEN Air Filter SHOP HERE over 10 years ago, we have such a heart to help with IAQ (Indoor Air Quality).   Even our beloved pets sometimes suffer from allergies, and treatment can be pricey.  So, with that said, here are a few “truths” we have learned about improving the IAQ in the home.

There are plants that help get rid of gases in the air (1-2 per 100 sq ft recommended). Of course, plants need attention and come with their own pluses and minuses. They look nice in the home, but if not taken care of properly, they can let mold form on the soil.

The one thing that really helps but can be really time consuming is house cleaning. There are the floors, shelves, drapes, blinds, fans, window sills etc. Dust and pet hair, etc, seem to settle on any surface but flat ones catch the most. We have noticed plastic surfaces like computers, TV, and shelves etc can attract dust very quickly.

Even the outdoors can add to the stuff that is in our homes. Flower beds, grass, and mud near the entry door easily add dust and bugs to our indoors. Pets, as you know, like to roll in the grass and dirt, then shake it off inside. Open windows and doors contribute, too.

These are just a few things that effect IAQ. We can use air purifiers and our Green Screen HVAC filters to help catch a lot of the airborne particles SHOP HERE. And cleaning our homes on a regular schedule can really be a huge part of the puzzle to having better Air to breathe.
