Our NEW 4" Green/Orange/White Screen in a cardboard frame is a GREAT solution to the pleated filters!
Description and Benefits:
- This is for filter thickness up to 3.75 inches, if you need something thicker move up to our large size
- The 4" Green/Orange/White Screen air filter has 3 layers of Screens with depth-loading filter construction for the BEST dust holding capacity with the BEST air flow.
- Since it depth-loads, it collects particles on hundreds of surfaces instead of face-loading filters that collect mainly on the top surface such as the pleated filters. It traps MORE particles than the 4" pleated filters with much better air flow.
- It is treated with a non-harmful, non-migrating Antimicrobial agent which inhibits the growth of mold, mildew, fungi and other harmful airborne particles.
- The Green layer of the air filter has a tacky material which allows it to capture and hold the finer particles within the filter. This feature gets true results for keeping the ac unit's coils clean which can save $$$ on maintenance. This also helps with reducing or eliminating allergy symptoms.
- It should last the 6 months with less restriction of air flow then the pleated filters (may need to change out earlier if you have lots of pets and/or people in the house)
- It is considered a hypo-allergenic product and is 100% land fillable!
We have just a few common sizes which are 1/2" smaller of width, depth and thickness than each size listed which makes them work in most all units, (this is called "Nominal" size which is what all filters are across the board unless they are custom).
